A sung Missa Cantata High Mass in Latin (Extraordinary Rite, with choir) occurs at 12:00 Noon on the on
the first Sunday of every month
at St. Sylvia’s Roman Catholic Church, 104 Broadway, Tivoli, NY.
All other
Sundays have a Low Mass (Extraordinary
Rite) at 12:00 Noon.

Directions to St. Sylvia’s: Tivoli
is a hamlet village of Red Hook; go North on Rt. 9 into Rhinebeck, turn LEFT (north)
on Rt. 9G. Proceed on Rt. 9G north, past three traffic lights. Turn left on Broadway into Tivoli. St. Sylvia’s is at
104 Broadway (on left side of the street). A large church parking lot is just across the street from the church.
It is anticipated that the Traditional Latin Mass will also be offered on Holy Days of Obligation.

Msgr. Joachim J. Olendzki, now retired and in residence at St. Sylvia's, Tivoli, had served as pastor
of St. Stanislaus, Pine Island, since 1989. He was founding director of Our Lady of Fatima Portuguese Catholic Center in Yonkers,
1977—1979. He was parochial vicar of Our Lady Star of the Sea, Staten Island, 1979—1989; Our Lady of Victory,
Mount Vernon, 1973—1977; St. Frances de Chantal, the Bronx, 1961—1973; and Assumption, Staten Island, 1960—1961.
Msgr. Olendzki, a native of Brazil, was ordained in 1958, incardinated into the archdiocese in 1974 and named a monsignor
in 2006.
