“He desires all men to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth.” (1 Tim 2, 4) The catechism “is in fact nothing more nor less than an abstract of our Lord’s teachings... a guide book for the Christian on the road to heaven...”, and the object of which is always to seek to promote communion with Jesus Christ.
